As a father, show the same love and affection for both your sons and your daughters. Boys learn kindness and empathy by seeing examples of men who are kind and nurturing. If we reserve our kindness and affection for our daughters while showing only “power” and “strength” to our sons, then we are failing to teach them what it means to be a healthy, loving, respectful man.
