July 27, 2015 – Coaching Boys Into Men Training

Coaching Boys Into Men Training

WHEN: Monday, July 27, 2015 12:00 noon – 2:00pm

WHERE: SCACA Coaches Clinic at the TD Center in Greensville, SC

High School athletic coaches in the Upstate of SC are invited to join us for lunch on Monday, July 27 from 12noon-2pm during the SCACA Coaches Clinic for this innovative Coaching Boys Into Men training for high school athletic coaches and athletic directors in the Upstate of South Carolina.

Coaching Boys Into Men is a coaches leadership program that partners with athletic coaches to help young male athletes practice respect towards themselves and others. Athletic coaches play an extremely influential and unique role in the lives of young men, often serving as a mentor to the boys they coach. Because of these special relationships, coaches are poised to positively influence how young men think and behave both on, and off, the field. From speeches to the team, practice sessions, or simply casual conversation, coaches have many opportunities to impart their philosophies upon their athletes. Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM) equips coaches to talk with their athletes about respect for women and girls and that violence doesn’t equal strength. Through CBIM, athletes learn skills to avoid violence and abuse in their relationships.

This event is free of charge, but attendees are required to RSVP by Wednesday, July 22. Register today at
